Learn how to securely attach your POM Clip White Black to a belt or waistband for quick access. This guide covers proper placement, common mistakes, and key features.
Quick answer
Slide the POM Clip White Black over your belt or waistband until the clip sits flush against the fabric. Ensure the flip-top safety is facing outward for easy access.
Choosing the right carry position
The POM Clip White Black fits most standard belts up to 1.5 inches wide. For waistbands without a belt, the clip can still grip securely if the material is firm enough. Avoid attaching to thin or stretchy fabrics that may not hold the clip in place.
Position the clip at your hip or slightly forward for a natural draw motion. Placing it too far back can make access awkward, especially when seated.
How to attach the POM Clip White Black to a belt
- Open the clip fully: Press the release tab on the back of the clip and pull the belt loop open. Make sure the clip is fully open before attempting to attach it. Common mistake: forcing the clip onto the belt without opening it fully can damage the clip or the belt.
- Slide onto the belt or waistband: Position the open clip over your belt or waistband at your desired carry location. Slide it down until the clip sits flush against the fabric. Checkpoint: The clip should be snug but not so tight that it restricts movement. Adjust if necessary.
- Secure and test the attachment: Press the clip closed until you hear it click. Gently tug on the clip to ensure it is secure. The clip should not slide or rotate easily. Common mistake: not pressing the clip fully closed can cause it to slip off during activity. Always test the attachment before carrying.
